What time are services at Sojourn Church?

Sunday service begins at 10:00 AM and lasts approximately 80 minutes, ending around 11:20 AM.
Yes, there is plenty of free parking available on-site.
We want you to come just as you are! Some dress casually (think jeans, t-shirts, etc.), others more formally (dresses, polos, button-downs), but there isn’t a dress code. We care more about you being here than what you wear—so wear what feels most comfortable for you.
A service usually includes worship music, Gospel-centered teaching from the Bible, and opportunities for prayer. Children’s ministry is available, so parents can have a service experience knowing kids are engaged in age-appropriate activities. If you’re new, expect a warm greeting from friendly people, a casual atmosphere, and space to explore faith.
Absolutely. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re exploring faith, returning after a long time, or simply curious. You don’t need to have faith fully sorted out to attend.
Sojourn Church’s ministry for newborns through 3rd grade is called Sojourn Kids. As you arrive, one of our hospitality team members will connect you with our Children’s Ministry Director, who will assist you with checking in your kids before service.

Yes. Sojourn offers community groups and a women’s bible study where people can connect, study the Bible, engage in authentic community, and grow their faith together.
You can grow through Sunday services, community or small groups, Bible studies, ministry involvement, and participating in events or workshops offered throughout the year.
You could join a community group, attend one of the men’s or women’s social events, or serve on a ministry team. There is also an opportunity for fellowship after the service where you can enjoy meeting people and talking with a pastor. Staff or volunteers will also be available to connect with first-time guests and help you take your next step.
When you arrive, one of our hospitality team members will gladly walk with you to meet our Children’s Ministry Director, who will help you get your kids checked in before the service. We count it a joy to care for your little ones, and we take their safety seriously. Our secure check-in system (for newborns through 3rd grade) provides printed name and pick-up tags, and every Sojourn Kids volunteer is background-checked, trained, and committed to following strict safety protocols.
Sojourn offers two exciting ministry opportunities for older kids and teens – Club 4/5 and Sojourn Youth! Club 4/5 is designed for 4th and 5th graders and meets every Wednesday from 6-8PM. Sojourn Youth is for students in 6th-12th grade and also meets every Wednesday from 6-8PM. In both ministries, students come together to worship, study God’s Word, build meaningful community, and have plenty of fun as they grow in their faith and build lasting friendships.
Sojourn is a Bible-believing non-denominational Christian church rooted in the Gospel. We emphasize gospel centrality, authentic community, missional intentionality, and sacrificial love. Our mission is gospel transformation. Sojourn exists to see the gospel transform everything around us – ourselves, our families, our church, Middle Georgia, and the world. Our heart is to reach people in Middle Georgia with the message of Jesus. We are affiliated with Acts 29.
At Sojourn, what sets us apart is our commitment to keeping the main thing—the Gospel—at the center of everything we do. We believe church is more than Sunday services; it’s doing life together in authentic community where people genuinely know and care for one another. We also want Sojourn to be a safe place for everyone to explore faith and experience the grace and forgiveness the Gospel provides. That is why we welcome and engage doubters, the disillusioned, skeptics, seekers, and believers alike. Sojourn emphasizes belonging before belief—creating space for people to explore faith even if they don’t feel like they have it all together. We pair solid biblical teaching with real community, outreach, and ministries across families, youth, and local/global service.
Sojourn believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who has existed eternally. He was born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life. He died as a substitute for those that trust Him and look to Him to pay the penalty for their sins. Jesus physically rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day physically return. Sojourn believes God has revealed himself through Jesus and the Bible, which are the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and therefore authoritative, sufficient, and without error in their original writings.
Yes. Sojourn Church is part of the Acts 29 Network.
Yes. The church provides sermons via their media library and Subsplash, and there is at least one podcast series (Q&A) available.

Yes, Sojourn hosts a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service where we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus through music and Scripture. We also recognize that Christmas can be a season of pain, struggle, or grief. For that reason, we offer a Service of Lament—a time to bring our hurts honestly before God and find comfort in community and in the hope God gives in Jesus.
