We want you to come just as you are! Some dress casually (think jeans, t-shirts, etc.), others more formally (dresses, polos, button-downs), but there isn’t a dress code. We care more about you being here than what you wear—so wear what feels most comfortable for you.

Sojourn is a Bible-believing non-denominational Christian church rooted in the Gospel. We emphasize gospel centrality, authentic community, missional intentionality, and sacrificial love. Our mission is gospel transformation. Sojourn exists to see the gospel transform everything around us – ourselves, our families, our church, Middle Georgia, and the world. Our heart is to reach people in Middle Georgia with the message of Jesus. We are affiliated with Acts 29.
At Sojourn, what sets us apart is our commitment to keeping the main thing—the Gospel—at the center of everything we do. We believe church is more than Sunday services; it’s doing life together in authentic community where people genuinely know and care for one another. We also want Sojourn to be a safe place for everyone to explore faith and experience the grace and forgiveness the Gospel provides. That is why we welcome and engage doubters, the disillusioned, skeptics, seekers, and believers alike. Sojourn emphasizes belonging before belief—creating space for people to explore faith even if they don’t feel like they have it all together. We pair solid biblical teaching with real community, outreach, and ministries across families, youth, and local/global service.
Sojourn believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who has existed eternally. He was born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life. He died as a substitute for those that trust Him and look to Him to pay the penalty for their sins. Jesus physically rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day physically return. Sojourn believes God has revealed himself through Jesus and the Bible, which are the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and therefore authoritative, sufficient, and without error in their original writings.

Yes, Sojourn hosts a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service where we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus through music and Scripture. We also recognize that Christmas can be a season of pain, struggle, or grief. For that reason, we offer a Service of Lament—a time to bring our hurts honestly before God and find comfort in community and in the hope God gives in Jesus.
